User:Caesars Entertainment Acquires Michigan iGaming Division From Wynn Resorts
Upon approval by regulators, the company announced that it has entered into an agreement with Winbet to operate its Michigan i-Gaming division and extend long-term access to the iGaming market with the Sot Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. As part of the agreement, Caesars will have access to Sot tribe iGaming skins, allowing Caesars to operate additional digital brands in Michigan, and existing WynnBET customers will be converted to Caesars' Michigan iGaming platform while awaiting approval from regulators. Win and Caesars will receive non-cash considerations, including the extinction, reduction, and transfer of certain contractual obligations related to the business of both sides.
"As we continue to grow our iGaming franchise, assuming Winbet's iGaming business in Michigan will enable us to leverage our significant market and customer base, and make significant progress in growing our digital offerings and providing players with more ways to play," said Matt Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Entertainment. "We are honored to work with the Sot Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and look forward to growing with them in Michigan."
WinBet's iGaming division offers a unique opportunity for Caesars to expand further into one of the largest iCasino markets in the U.S., while continuing to operate its Caesars Sportsbook and Caesars Palace online casinos. Caesars plans to transform its WinBet iCasino division into one of the leading gaming brands in its Caesars portfolio later this year in Michigan. Caesars is currently committed to a seamless transition and premium customer experience for WinBet iGaming customers. Details of Caesars' new iCasino service will be announced later.
"It was of paramount importance that iGaming's next partner has both expertise in the U.S. iGaming market and a history of strong partnerships in the Indian country. We've discovered this with Caesars, and we look forward to being able to participate in our new iCasino service," said Austin Lowes, president of Chipwa Indians.
The Sot tribe currently owns and operates the Kewadin Casino, which consists of five land casinos located throughout Michigan's Upper Peninsula. 무료슬롯사이트
