LG Twins manager Yeom Kyung-yup has announced that he expects his players to perform well as they have prepared for the Korean Baseball Organization's (KBO) Korean Series opponent, the KT Wiz.

"For three weeks after finishing the regular season, we checked the necessary parts of the team," Yeom said in a statement released by the club on Friday. "Above all, we focused on maintaining the sense of the game through practice games," he said.

"Our players' desire to win is stronger than ever, so we expect them to perform well in the Korean Series against KT as we have prepared," he said. "We will do our best to give our fans the results they want in the Korean Series, which is the last game of the season."

LG, which reached the Korean Series as the No. 1 team in the regular season for the first time in 29 years since 1994, has been preparing for the series by holding training camps at LG Champions Park in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, and moving to Jamsil Stadium in Seoul in late October.

In particular, the team invited Twins fans to the last Blue-Black Game (the 6th practice game) on the 4th for free to celebrate the Korean Series victory with fans.

Yeom Kyung-yeop and KT WIZ manager Lee Kang-cheol were classmates at Gwangju Ilgo and worked together for four years as head coaches when Yeom, the junior, was managing the Nexen Heroes (now the Kiwoom Heroes). 스포츠토토맨
