Gangwon FC of the K-League 1, a professional soccer team supported by V of the group BTS, drew at home with FC Seoul, which was missing 'soccer star' Jesse Lingard.

Gangwon drew 1-1 in the home game against Seoul in the 4th round of Hana Bank K League 1 2024 held at Songam Sports Town in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do on the 31st.

Gangwon (3 draws, 1 loss), which was trying for its first win at home, had to be satisfied with its third draw this season.

Seoul (1 win, 2 draws, 1 loss, 5 points), which aimed for consecutive wins following the 3rd round match against Jeju United, was also unable to protect Willian's first goal and only shared 1 point.

Lingard, who attracted the attention of soccer fans that day, was not included in the playing list due to a minor knee injury.

BTS's V visited the stadium instead of 'soccer star' Lingard.

The Gangwon club signed a business agreement in 2018 with the 2nd Army Corps located in Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon. V, a member of the 2nd Corps, cheered for Gangwon, a team from Chuncheon, in the stands with his teammates.

A golden opportunity came to Gangwon just 12 minutes into the game. Seoul midfielder Han Seung-gyu's inaccurate pass gave the excuse.

In Gangwon, Yang Min-hyuk, a striker born in 2006, suddenly appeared on the left side of the penalty area and kicked a left-footed shot. Goalkeeper Choi Cheol-won made a throw with his body, allowing Seoul to overcome the crisis of conceding a goal.

Seoul's first shot, pushed back by Gangwon's offensive, came in the 29th minute of the first half. During a counterattack, Kang Sang-woo, who ran down the left side, kicked with his left foot in the penalty area, but the ball went wide in the air.

Another opportunity came at the start of the second half for Gangwon, who failed to score even though the ball possession rate in the first half was 61% to 39% and the number of shots on target was 8 to 3.

Wellington, who received Yang Min-hyuk's pass on a counterattack, kicked strongly from the right side of the penalty box, but this time it only hit the crossbar and did not result in a goal.

As the team was unable to escape the defense throughout, Seoul coach Kim Ki-dong made a game-changing move by subtracting fullback Lee Tae-seok and inserting striker Willian in the 16th minute of the second half.

This replacement card was spot on. In the 26th minute of the second half, Willian leapt toward Cho Young-wook's cross from the right side and hit Gangwon's net with a header. This is Willian's first goal this season.

In Gangwon, which was in crisis, striker Lee Sang-heon stepped up to solve the problem. 스포츠토토맨
