Professional players wore golf bags for future dreamers and served as daily caddies.

Moon Kyung-joon, Kim Dong-min and Choi Ho-young, who are active in the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour, served as caddies for a day at the second KPGA Junior League Family Golf Championship in 2024 held at Seopyeongtaek Golf Club in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province on Saturday. They played caddies for a day by wearing golf bags to help junior players play, as well as one-point lessons and autograph sessions.

The Junior League Family Golf Tournament is designed to provide future dream players with an easy and fun opportunity to enjoy golf by utilizing golf equipment suitable for their age growth. It aims to expand the base of golf as a "lifelong sport." A total of 105 junior players from 35 teams participated in this year's competition, competing in a nine-hole (par-27) stroke play method.

For professional players who spent a meaningful time reducing the burden of the fierce competition world, the event was quite meaningful.

Moon Kyung-joon said, "I was impressed by the youth players who are serious about playing games and events even at a young age. I hope they have fun and interest in golf and grow into great players in the future." Kim Dong-min also said, "I'm happy to participate in a meaningful event. I feel like I'm learning more from the passion of young players for golf." Choi Ho-young said, "I also had the experience of participating when I had this opportunity as a child. It's new to be able to become a professional and spend time with young players. I hope it will be a good memory for young players. ."

Seo Sang-jin Golf Academy won the team event. It is led by Seo Sang-jin, a KPGA professional, and has five junior players, including Seo Sae-bom, Koo Eun-woo, Park Ha-eum, Lee Seung-heon, and Song Ho-yoon.

Kim Ji-oh of Korea Kids Golf, who recorded 2-over-29, won the lowest par award for the lower grades. In the upper grades, it was up to Seo Sae-bom, who recorded 1-under 26.

“Despite the scorching weather, I felt the enthusiasm of junior golfers for golf,” said KPGA Chairman Kim Won-seop. "I am grateful to the KPGA Tour players for having a meaningful day with them," adding, "We will do our best at KPGA so that young players, who will become the future of Korean professional golf, can continue to develop their fun and dream of golf."
