Lee Jung-hwan leads the second round of the KPGA Invitational alone

Lee Jung-hwan 이정환 took a one-shot lead after the second round of the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour Honors K Solago CC Han Jang-sang Invitational.

Lee carded eight birdies and two bogeys in the second round of the tournament at the par-72 Solaro Country Club in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do on July 21.

The tournament is being played on a modified Stableford format, with eight albatrosses, five eagles, two birdies, zero pars, a bogey, and a double bogey or worse all worth ?1 and a combined score of ?3.

Lee added 14 points on the day.

His two-day total of 28 points puts him one point ahead of Choi Jin-ho at the top of the leaderboard.

Lee, who made his Korean Tour debut in 2010 and won his first title at the 2017 Kaido Golden V1 Open, has not won since his second victory at the 2018 Golf Zone DYB Education Tour Championship.

He has five top-10s this year, including two runner-up finishes.

Lee Dong-min is in third place with 26 points.

Hwang Do-yeon, who was in sole possession of first place on the first day, added 10 points in the second round to drop to a tie for fourth with 24 points.

Chung Chan-min, who is looking for his second win since the GS Caltex Mae Kyung Open, finished tied for 10th with 23 points.
