Eric Dier, a defender who joined Germany's most prestigious Bayern Munich despite being behind Tottenham, made headlines by saying goodbye to Tottenham on his SNS.
England's The Sun reported on the 12th (Korea time) that "England defender Eric Dier posted a touching goodbye video for Tottenham fans after meeting Harry Kane again in Bayern Munich."
Dier's main position is at center back, but he can play both defensive midfielders and right backs. Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel justified his move, saying, "Dier is a defensive expert."
However, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, who took over last summer, completely ignored Dyer and only started once.
Eventually, with the addition of 21-year-old Romanian defender Radu Dragisin, Dier completely lost his seat and went to Munich.
After confirming his move, Dyer posted a farewell message on his Instagram. He said, "After almost 10 years, it's time to say goodbye to this great soccer club. He concluded, "It's time to start a new chapter for me and my family. I'm grateful to everyone who has been with me on this journey, and I wish all the best to the players, the coaches, the club staff, and most importantly all the Tottenham fans."
Dyer watched the game against Hoffenheim from the stands on the 13th and vowed to play in the next game.
