4-year guaranteed amount of 4 billion won and incentive of 700 million won

On the 20th, the Lotte Giants announced that they had agreed to a contract with Jeon Jun-woo for a four-year contract period, a guaranteed amount of 4 billion won, and a total incentive of 700 million won.

Jeon Jun-woo, who joined Lotte in 2008, is a franchise star with a batting average of 0.300, 1,812 hits, 196 home runs and 888 RBIs in 1,616 games over 15 seasons.

In particular, over the past four years, he has appeared in an average of 136 games per season, showing excellent offensive ability with an average batting average of 0.311, slugging percentage of 0.468, on-base percentage of 0.371, and OPS of 0.839.

Jeon Jun-woo is rewriting the club's history every season, recording 2,800 bases for the 25th time in history during the 2023 season, and achieving 1,800 hits for the 24th time in history.

He also became the 53rd player in history to play in 1,600 games and the 42nd player in history to have 100 hits in 7 consecutive seasons.

Jeon Jun-woo said, “I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Lotte fans who showed a lot of interest and enthusiastic support after joining the Lotte club, and to owner Shin Dong-bin, who recognized my performance over the past four years and future value even in my second free agency. “As he signed a contract for a satisfactory amount, as a Lotte franchise player, he will live up to the expectations of fans with good results,” he said.

General Manager Park Jun-hyuk said, “Jeon Jun-woo has achieved outstanding results every year through self-management and an altruistic attitude that puts the team first, and has consistently devoted himself to the club. In the future, he hopes to create our team's culture together as a senior member of the team. “He is a player who continues the tradition as a one-club man, and he wants to stay with us for a longer period of time than his current contract.”

Meanwhile, Jeon Jun-woo decided to donate 100 million won to the club for the construction of a new stadium if the incentive for the 2027 season is achieved.

The club plans to provide opportunities for nurturing juniors and pave the way for them to become leaders by supporting overseas coach training for two years after the player's retirement. 슬롯
