KBO umpire Woo Hyo-dong has been disciplined for causing confusion by misapplying a rule after being hit by a batter's pitch during a game.


The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced today that it has suspended umpire Woo Hyo-dong for the remainder of the season for causing chaos by failing to apply the rules correctly during the game between the LG Twins and SSG Landers at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on Nov. 21.


The controversial scene occurred in the eighth inning of the LG-SSG game on Nov. 21.
