The jerseys also feature a tiger patch colored with the Korean flag 홀덤사이트 and the Korean flag's gungeongamri on both sleeves, and a Mugunghwa patch on the back of the jersey.

"On my way to work at the stadium on the weekend, I saw some young kids playing baseball. "I'm always a fan of kids, and it's great to see younger kids out on the field having fun," said McCarty.

"I've been wanting to meet the kids since April, but I couldn't make it due to conflicting schedules with away games and starts. When the time finally came, I was able to visit them and was happy to see them smiling and excited to see me even though they were in training."

The coach of the SSG Landers Youth Baseball Club expressed his gratitude, saying, "I really appreciate his heart for the kids, and I think it will be a great motivation for our kids."

Yesterday's comrades, today's enemies for the top five... Cuevas vs Alcantara in a Liberation Day bout

William Cuevas and Raúl Alcantara.

The two players arrived in Korea together. They were a one-two punch for the KT Wiz in the 2019 season. That year, Cuevas won 13 games and Alcantara won 11, helping KT achieve its first five-win season in franchise history.

The following year was a crossroads. 스포츠토토 KT signed Odrisamer Despaigne ahead of the 2020 season. One of Cuevas and Alcantara would have to leave the team. KT opted to keep Cuevas while removing Alcantara from the disabled list. The Doosan Bears, who were looking for a foreign pitcher, reached out to Alcantara, and the two players went from 'comrades' to 'enemies'. Cuevas had been KT's foreign starting pitcher until his injury last year, helping the team win its first fall baseball title and first unified championship. Alcantara was one of the best pitchers in the KBO in 2020, going 20-2 with a 2.54 ERA, before joining the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) Hanshin Tigers the following year.

After a brief absence from Korea, both players returned to the KBO this year. Cuevas left Korea last year due to elbow pain. He had a long rehabilitation period. KT chose the healthy Cuevas as a replacement when foreign pitcher Bo Schuler struggled this year. Alcantara, who didn't have much success with Hanshin until last year, returned to the KBO this year when he signed with Doosan.

Cuevas and Alcantara will start against KT-Dusan on April 15 at Jamsil Stadium. Cuevas is 5-0 with a 3.54 ERA in nine games, while Alcantara is 10-5 with a 2.47 ERA in 21 games. Alcantara has been particularly effective against KT this season, picking up two wins. He hasn't allowed a single run in two games against the KT lineup and has a WHIP (walks allowed per inning) of just 0.33.

This is an important three-game series for both teams. KT has been on a scorching run since the end of the first half, climbing all the way up to third place. They have won 8 of their last 10 games (2 losses) and are on a two-game winning streak. They are focused on keeping the momentum going. Doosan, on the other hand, was on a 10-game winning streak at one point, but has since struggled to accumulate wins and has fallen to fifth place. They are only 1.5 games behind the sixth-place KIA Tigers and three games behind the seventh-place Lotte Giants. It's a game where foreign starters are needed.

Meanwhile, against SSG-Lotte at Sajik Stadium on the 15th, Elias and Park Se-woong will face off in a foreigner-native matchup. Plutko and Won Tae-in will start against LG and Samsung in Daegu, Peña and Turner against Hanwha and NC in Changwon, and Hurado and Yang Hyun-jong against Kiwoom and KIA in Gwangju.
