Celebrating 78 years of liberation + Tigers V12 origins...KIA launches 2 special uniforms

The Kia Tigers have released two special uniforms to commemorate the 78th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The Tigers will wear their Liberation Day uniforms for their home game against the Kiwoom Heroes on May 15 at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju. Designed with uniform sponsor IAB Studio, the special jerseys were inspired by the hanboks of the independence fighters who served their country and the Korean flag, and feature off-white tops and ink-colored bottoms. The jerseys also feature a tiger patch colored with the Korean flag 홀덤사이트 and the Korean flag's gungeongamri on both sleeves, and a Mugunghwa patch on the back of the jersey.

On the 17th, against Gwangju Kiwoom, the team will wear a special uniform for Mountaineering Day.

The special uniforms for Mt. Ascension Day are grayish-brown to symbolize Mt. Ascension's main statue, and light green to represent the bright greenery of Mt. Ascension. On both shoulders, a tiger V pattern is applied to pray for the Tigers' 12th Korean Series title. The front of the jerseys will feature a patch of the otter 'Dalkongi', the flagship bell of Mt. Musan National Park.

The special jerseys will be available at the team store online and offline. The Liberation Day jerseys will go on sale at 2 p.m. on the 15th, and the special jerseys for Mt. Ascension Day will go on sale at 4 p.m. on the 17th.
